Parking & Shuttle Timetable

To ensure a smooth flow of vehicles, we kindly ask you to park your car
at one of the dedicated locations.

P1 (Berufsbildungszentrum), 15 min walking

P2 (Landratsamt and Agentur für Arbeit), for people with mobile disabilities and families with children, 5 min walking

Caravans shall be parked at Puschkin Park P3, 20 min walking

Shuttle Timetable P1 – Shuttles are driving every 15 min

Catering & Restaurants

Catering services are provided on Friday from 2 PM to 8 PM, and on Saturday during the lunch break (outside the hall). Additionally,
snacks and beverages are available throughout the event (inside the hall).

Information

Teachings are given in English and translated directly into German. For French, Polish and Czech, you can find translation headphones. Please return them to the charging station at the end of each teaching session.

Copies of Prayer Booklets are provided. They contain a collection of texts that will be recited at various moments during the event. Refuge Booklets are also available for everyone who wishes to take Refuge.

A designated area is organised for parents with children. This space
allows adults to follow the teachings, while taking care of the kids.

Questions and Answers

Here you will find questions we are frequently asked and their corresponding answers.

I would like to offer my help during the preperation or during the event. Who can I contact?

We are very happy to receive volunteers! Please write an email to info@dhagpo-moehra.org
If you already have clear ideas about what your support could look like or if you have special qualifications that you would like to provide (e.g. medical training, foreign language skills, technical knowledge, security consultant, etc.), please let us know in advance.

I am or I feel unwell. Can I still participate?

If you feel unwell before you arrive, we kindly ask you to decide for yourself whether it is suitable for you to be present or whether you would prefer not to take part out of consideration for the number of other people on site.
If you feel unwell during the event and need assistance. In case you are unsure what to do, please do not hesitate to contact our first aid team. We also have medical masks in supply there.

I am unable to attend the event at short notice. Will I get a refund of the admission fee?

A refund is not possible. However, you are welcome to pass your ticket on to your Dharma friends.

Can I come at the last minute and buy a ticket on site?

Tickets are sold exclusively through Eventim. Therefore, cash payment on site is sadly not possible. But you can buy a ticket via Eventim up until the start of the event, as long as tickets are still available.

I have neither a credit card nor a Paypal account and I don't use online banking. How can I book a ticket?

Eventim offers several payment options.
If you can’t use any of them, maybe you know someone who can buy the card for you with your data (name, email address, etc.).

I have booked my ticket via Eventim and received a confirmation email. What is the next step?

In the confirmation email you will find a PDF with a QR code. You will need this code on site for admission. You can print out the PDF or bring it with you on your mobile phone. Please make sure that you have the QR code at hand when you enter.

I would love to attend, but I can't afford the reduced ticket as well. What can I do ?

Access to the Dharma should not be restricted or withheld for financial reasons. Please contact us viainfo@dhagpo-moehra.org. We will find a suitable way!

I have a handicap. Will I receive support?

If possible, please register before the event if, so that we can adapt better to your needs and let us know at the entrance if necessary. We will support you as best as we can!

Can I reserve a seat?

Unfortunately, we cannot reserve seats for participants.
However, there are enough seats in the hall and the video screen guarantees a good view on Karmapa Thaye Dorje from every seat.

Which languages are offered as translations?

Currently planned are: German, French, Polish and Czech.

Can I bring Dharma objects to be blessed?

There will be a table on which you can leave dharma objects to be blessed by Karmapa on Sunday. You can have objects, brought or bought here, blessed by Karmapa on Sunday.

I have no accommodation yet. How can I receive information?

From now on, we will inform you about offers via newsletter and on our website.

Do I need to bring food or will meals and drinks be provided at the event?

We have planned various vegetarian options in front of the hall.
This is where you will be able to get food on Friday when you arrive and also on Saturday during the lunch break. A detailed list of the food options will follow soon.
Soon we will compile a list of restaurants and shopping facilities in the area and publish it via newsletter and on our website. On the day of the event, you can also ask for this information at the Infopoint in the event hall.

I want to bring my dog along. Is this possible ?

Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed at the event.
Assistance dogs according, to §12e BGG are exempt from this.
In this case, please contact us in advance so that we can discuss what we need to take into account.
