Following the recommendation and direct invitation of Karmapa Thaye Dorje, we look forward to welcoming Khenpo Rigdröl Ngedön, who will teach *The Bodhisattva’s Garland of Jewels* by Master Atisha in Möhra.

The Bodhisattva’s Garland of Jewels is a 27-verse guide written by the Indian master Atiśa in the 11th century. Its central purpose is to teach mind training (Lojong). It explains how a person can overcome selfishness and live a life dedicated to helping others achieve enlightenment.

Key Lessons for Everyday Life

Guard your mind: Watch your thoughts when you are alone to stop negative patterns.
Guard your speech: Watch your words when you are with others to avoid gossip and anger.
Drop the ego: Practice humility, stop seeking praise, and let go of attachment to material things.
Develop the “Seven Riches”: Focus on building inner qualities like faith, discipline, generosity, learning, conscience, self-control, and wisdom.
Focus on care about boddhicitta and meditation on one single pointed and always watch one’s one mind.

Khenpo Rigdröl Ngedön
Born in Tibet, Rigdröl Ngedön moved to India at a very young age to pursue his spiritual and academic training. There he earned the prestigious title of Khenpo, the highest academic degree in Tibetan Buddhism, which is equivalent to a Doctorate in Buddhist Philosophy.
Following his graduation, he dedicated nearly a decade to teaching future practitioners at premier institutions as the Karmapa International Buddhist Institute (KIBI) where he taught advanced philosophy for six years, and for abaout 3 years at the Shri Diwakar Vihara Buddhist Research & Learning Center in Kalingpong.
In 1999, he began sharing his deep understanding of Buddhist philosophy worldwide across Asia, Latin America, and Europe. By conducting deep philosophy courses and guiding long-term meditation retreats, he developed a unique understanding of how to bridge ancient Eastern wisdom with modern Western traditions. He regularly teaches in Spain, France, Germany, and Italy. While maintaining his international teaching schedule, he moved to Spain over fifteen years ago to establish a permanent spiritual community.
His work continues to focus on making the deepest aspects of Buddhist philosophy and meditation accessible to the modern public.
