Young Sangha Pilgrimage 2027
Young Sangha Pilgrimage 2027

Pilgrimage of the Young Sangha Möhra
in March 2027

The Tibetan term “Nä Kor” literally means “to circumambulate a place”—that is, to pay homage to it and immerse oneself in its field of power.
Traditionally, a pilgrimage serves as a source of inspiration and assistance on the path to liberation. In the Tibetan tradition, it is held that sacred sites possess a special power; wishes and prayers spoken at these places come to fruition, and the karmic impact of all actions is multiplied.

We are therefore delighted to announce that the Young Sangha of Dhagpo Möhra will be embarking on a pilgrimage next year. This fulfills a wish that has taken shape within the group and was further developed in collaboration with Lama Yeshe Sangmo.

We are particularly delighted that the pilgrimage of the Young Sangha Möhra will take place under the blessing of Gyalwa Karmapa Thaye Dorje.

At the moment, the following procedure is envisaged:

March 4: Departure from Germany
March 5: Arrival in Delhi
March 6–14: Karmapa Public Course at KIBI
March 15: Delhi (including a visit to the National Museum)
From March 16: Start of the pilgrimage
Approx. March 25: Return flight

Starting in New Delhi—where we will attend the “Karmapa Public Course,” taking place at KIBI from March 6 to 14, 2027—our journey continues to Bodhgaya. From there, we will visit sites including Nalanda, the Mahakala Caves, and Rajgir. We will finalize additional pilgrimage sites over the coming months in accordance with the itinerary.
On the occasion of the “Karmapa Public Course,” Gyalwa Karmapa Thaye Dorje will bestow empowerments and teachings on Shantideva’s text *Entering the Bodhisattva’s Way of Life* (Bodhicaryavatara).

Those wishing to participate in the Young Sangha pilgrimage should take advantage of this opportunity and register as soon as possible so that we can reserve accommodations and finalize the itinerary. You can participate in the entire trip, or only in the first part (KIBI Course), or only in the second part (pilgrimage). You will find the corresponding options on the registration form.
