Studienprogramm 2026
„The Jewel Ornament of Liberation“´by Gampopa
on-site and online
The study program with Acharya Ngawang Tharchin begins at the end of April, followed by alternating sessions (every 3 months) with Acharya Gonpo Tashi.
Part 1
End of April till end of July with Acharya Ngawang Tharchin
Part 2
Beginning of August till end of October with Acharya Gonpo Tashi
Further parts of the study program will be determined by arrangement.
The study program is offered in two different formats. Both formats cover the same content.
Study in person on site
Participants: Members of the Möhra Sangha and retreat- or study guests.
Learning in small groups and the lively exchange among students enables the acquisition of knowledge on different levels in a sustainable way.
Study online
Participants: Anyone interested who cannot be in Möhra in person.
Since the course content is taught progressively and the instructors rotate every every three months, it is advisable to register for the start of the online program and for three-month periods. It is also possible to book the online course for a full year.
In this context, we would like to point out that the “Online Study” program is intended for participants who, while unable to attend in person, can still commit the necessary time to participate. For this format, it is important for all students to be present in person on a regular basis, as knowledge acquisition does not consist solely of listening to lectures but, in the online version, also relies on exchanging ideas, asking questions, and receiving answers.
In addition, we are planning to give the group of “online students” an opportunity to meet in person and interact in Möhra. We will announce the specific weekend for this event at a later date.
Language of instruction
Englisch / Use of the Zoom tool “Translated Subtitles”, which transcribes spoken language into another language in real time.
The basis is the German-language edition of Gampopa‘s „The Jewel Ornament of Liberation“. The english edition is available from Shambhala Publications.
Got to Shambhala Publications
For those participants who wish to register but are unsure whether they can attend all sessions, the lectures will be recorded and made available online for review during the booked period. This ensures that any missed lecture can be listened to or followed online according to individual needs and availability.
The video data is also compressed to facilitate the streaming process.
Transcripts will be prepared and made available to all students. When these will be available will be announced at a later time.
